Enjoy all Florence has to Offer Outside the Resort’s Property

Siltcoos Station is located a scenic 12 miles from Florence, Oregon, where there's plenty to do!
Leisure activities include year-round fishing for largemouth bass and catfish. As the weather warms, fishing for perch, rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and steelhead becomes more active. Coho season begins in October and runs through December, and is one of the healthiest fisheries in Oregon.
Hunting Seasons on our side of Siltcoos (the east side) include deer, bear, elk, turkey, cougar, and bobcat for the avid sportsman. This lake is also the highest-yielding duck hunting site in the state of Oregon.
Other outdoor activities include hiking, foraging for berries and mushrooms (during the season), and boating. Spotting a bald eagle or lake otter out here is not an uncommon sight on your adventures!
Nearby Florence offers ample shopping, antique stores, river-front restaurants and even more outdoor activities like crabbing, clamming, and charter fishing. The ocean is a short drive away and to get there, you'll cross the Oregon Dunes National Recreation area, which has horseback riding, ATV rentals and giant dune buggy rides.
At Siltcoos Station, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Welcome to Florence Oregon and enjoy your stay!
